Garcia tied David Freese’s single-postseason record for RBIs with 21 in his first plate appearance of the World Series, a single off D-backs starter Zac Gallen in the first inning. He went on to drive in 22 RBIs in the postseason, surpassing Freese’s mark and setting a new all-time record.
