As Dennis Quaid packed his things to leave his house in Los Angeles during wildfires, he found himself in a precarious predicament.
Reporter Robert Kovacik stopped the 70-year-old celebrity as he was packing up his things to do an interview at his Brentwood, California, home.
Fans attacked the reporter on social media after the hurried interview.
“Not them interviewing Dennis Quaid while he frantically tries to pack his belongings to evacuate,” a fan said on X.
Another said, “Very one of the worst parasitic paparazzi shit I’ve ever seen.”
Another person said, “It went on for about 20 minutes, this dude harassing Dennis Quaid and being ridiculously inappropriate crossing boundaries and invading privacy while he’s trying to evacuate.”
A fourth person echoed the view, saying, “Dude, he doesn’t have time to talk.” Another worried admirer pointed out, “He can’t take with him every second you waste.”
Despite this, the Substance actor remained composed and even told neighbors to switch off their gas before leaving their houses.
“Our experience of reality can change in a moment,” he stated, reflecting on the accident.
