The most well-known work of Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry is Pardes, which was directed by Subhash Ghai. The actress’s high-profile relationship with former Indian tennis star Leander Paes garnered media attention in addition to her acting career. Mahima was frequently spotted cheering him on during his matches during the two’s alleged three-year romance.

An old news footage from when her separation blew out years ago recently made a reappearance on social media. The actress and Leander Paes, a former tennis player, had a love connection that ended bitterly in 2003 when it was revealed that he had an affair with Rhea Pillai, Sanjay Dutt’s second wife. Mahima was cited as stating in the old news that reappeared on the discussion forum Reddit:

When Mahima opened up about her heartbreak post-divorce from Paes
At one point, Mahima opened out to Miss Malini about the heartache she had experienced while dating Paes. She also brought up his extramarital romance with Rhea Pillai, who at the time was married to seasoned Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt. Mahima revealed:
Even though he is a skilled tennis player, he treated me unfairly. When I discovered that he was seeing someone else, I wasn’t very surprised. My life was unaffected by his departure. As a matter of fact, my personal maturity increased. I believe he also did the same thing to Rhea (Pillai).
Leander Paes’s relationship history
According to Mahima’s disclosures during the interview, Leander Paes has a history of adultery. He moved on with Rhea Pillai, Sanjay Dutt’s second wife, following his split from Mahima. Leander Paes and Rhea Pillai were together for a number of years after splitting from Mahima, and they even had a daughter together.
Rhea accused the former tennis star of domestic abuse, but Leander and Rhea’s relationship also ended badly. The court later decided in Rhea’s favor, requiring Paes to pay her Rs. 50,000 in rent each month and an extra Rs. 1 lakh in maintenance because she had decided to leave their joint house.
