According to Ukraine’s military, it has hit the base of the Russian missile battalion responsible for the deadly strike on Sumy on Sunday.
A Russian attack on the city left at least 119 people injured and 35 dead. Among the dead and injured were children.
A site belonging to “the 448th missile brigade of the Russian occupiers” has been hit, according to the Ukrainian military.
The Telegram messaging service said that the base was “hit [and] a secondary detonation of ammunition was recorded” in a statement.
“The results of the strike are being clarified,” it continued.
