In addition to her struggle with stage 4 cancer, Teddi Mellencamp was dealing with another significant problem. According to reports, there was an attempted break-in at Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave’s house.
“Fortunately, their security system worked, the police arrived promptly, and the perpetrators fled,” a source told Page Six on Tuesday.
On Monday night, two intruders broke into the Los Angeles home of the ex-couple while Mellencamp and Arroyave were inside. Thankfully, when the home’s security system detected the two strangers, it was triggered, and the 44-year-old and her ex-partner notified the security personnel.
However, despite fast intervention, the two robbers managed to depart the premises. According to TMZ, the same suspects broke into another home in the neighborhood of Mellencamp and Arroyave, according to police reports.
In November 2024, after 13 years of marriage, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum filed for divorce from Arroyave.
The two have three kids together: Dove (4), Cruz (10), and Slate (12). Recently, a mysterious man who turned out to be TV producer Ricci Rea was romantically associated with John Mellencamp’s daughter. But shortly after, Teddi revealed that she had previously ended their relationship because she wasn’t ready for a committed partnership.
