Between 1999 and 2005, Russell Brand was accused of two instances of sexual assault and rape.
The 50-year-old novelist, comedian, and actor has also been charged with one crime of indecent assault and one case of oral rape, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Four ladies are involved in the allegations.
On Friday, May 2, he is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
According to police, Brand is charged with indecently assaulting a woman in the Westminster neighborhood of London in 2001 and raping a woman in the Bournemouth region in 1999.
Additionally, he is charged with sexually assaulting and verbally raping a lady in Westminster in 2004.
The fourth charge alleges that a woman was sexually assaulted in Westminster between 2004 and 2005.
Police began investigating Brand, from Oxfordshire, in September 2023 after receiving a number of allegations.
