Robert Pattinson is infatuated with his daughter, who is ten months old!
In March of last year, Pattinson, 38, and his fiancée Suki Waterhouse had their first child together.
The actor is utterly enamored with his daughter’s “smell.” The Twilight actress talked about his experiences as a parent in an interview with Vogue.
The actor laughed as he told the publication, “I remember people used to be like, ‘Oh, don’t you like the smell of babies, but I thought they were just smelling the baby powder.”
“However, after having a baby, I thought, ‘My baby smells incredible.'”
His daughter’s scent is treasured by the Mickey 17 actor because “there’s something there” that makes it easier for him to “identify her.”
“She doesn’t smell like other babies,” he stated.
A baby’s smell helps them develop a link with their parents, according to Marty Ellington Jr., MD, MPH, chairwoman of the pediatric department at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, who spoke to parents last August.
“The way the infant looks, smiles, smells, and does everything inspires us to care for them. Babies are well received by adults. Ellingon Jr. stated, “It’s all a part of the bonding process.”
Notably, Pattinson has acknowledged to The New York Times that he often lies during interviews because he is bored.
