From 2016 until 2022, he served as Australia’s assistant coach; he resigned the position to concentrate on his work with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Prior to the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup in August 2022, Sriram was also named Bangladesh’s T20 consultant. He joined the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in September 2023 as their assistant coach for the 2024 Indian Premier League. Prior to the ODI World Cup, he returned to Bangladesh, this time as a technical consultant.
