Nicole Kidman gets honest on parenting challenges as single mother

Nicole Kidman opened up about the challenge she had to face as a mother of teenage daughters while filming Lioness.

For those unaware, the 59-year-old Australian-American actress and film producer shares her two daughters, 18-year-old Sunday Rose and 15-year-old Faith Margaret, with her former husband, Keith Urban.

Chatting with Extra along with her co-star Zoe Saldaña to promote her Taylor Sheridan-created series Lioness, Kidman revealed how she would manage her daughters as a single mother while shooting for the thriller series.

Before the Babygirl star, Saldana said, “Nicole would if she was there, but as soon as Nicole finishes, she flies home to her family. And it’s so beautiful to see, too.”

“I go home to my family. I’ve got one child in junior year and one who’s a freshman. So, I was like, ‘Okay, I got to be there taking care,’ you know? Multitasking, right?” Kidman laughingly quipped.

It is pertinent to mention that the Eyes Wide Shut star also shares two children, 33-year-old Bella and 31-year-old Connor, with her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise tied the knot in 1990 but separated in 2001. She married Keith Urban in 2006 but decided to file for divorce after 19 years of marriage in September 2025, which was finalized in January 2026.
