Netanyahu to instruct Israeli military on next steps in Gaza.

In order to achieve all of his war objectives, Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that he will call a meeting of his security cabinet to debate how to direct Israel’s military to advance in Gaza.

“We must continue to stand together and fight together to achieve all our war objectives: the defeat of the enemy, the release of our hostages, and the assurance that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel,” the prime minister of Israel addressed his cabinet.

According to an official from his office, Israel’s Channel 12 said that Mr. Netanyahu is considering extending the attack in Gaza and taking control of the whole enclave.

According to Israeli media, he will meet with his cabinet on Tuesday to reach a decision.

“Neither the future of the hostages nor Israeli security are affected in any way by it. It’s essentially a fight to keep the coalition together and spare Netanyahu from the inevitable reckoning day that will arrive when the conflict ends and these corruption trials in criminal courts are expedited. In essence, it is completely unwarranted.

The US president should put pressure on Israel to cease the conflict immediately, according to a letter submitted by almost 600 former Israeli security personnel.

“It is our professional judgement that Hamas no longer poses a strategic threat to Israel,” the letter stated. “Your credibility with the vast majority of Israelis augments your ability to steer Prime Minister Netanyahu.”
