Miley Cyrus gracefully recovers from a wardrobe mishap during her New Year’s Eve performance. On NBC’s “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party,” Cyrus lost part of her silver top when she transitioned between songs during her performance of the song. While her band and backing vocalists performed “Party in the United States of America,” she departed the stage while holding it in place and turning her back to the camera. Cyrus didn’t even pause to take a breath, swiftly returning to the stage in the same red jacket she had worn earlier in the performance.

According to Cyrus, the words to her 2009 smash song “Everybody’s Looking at Me” were adapted for this song. The singer said, “I’m still in the most things that I’ve ever worn on stage.”

Cyrus even turned the situation into a learning opportunity for the new year.

“The theme of tonight’s presentation was being adaptable, rolling with the punches, and making the best of even the most difficult situations. And that tenacity should not be put to rest here. That is something we should carry into the New Year “At the end of the night, Cyrus mentioned something. “We’ve all learned to anticipate the unexpected, and rather of seeing it as a problem, let’s see it as a chance to learn something new. I wish everyone in Miami, as well as everyone watching from afar, a joyful and healthy New Year in 2022. Thank you so much for making tonight possible. I appreciate all you’ve done. You were truly everything I needed to throw the best celebration of the year.”

According to Cyrus, Pete Davidson of “Saturday Night Live” acted as co-host of the programme, which was held outside owing to the Covid-19 pandemic in front of a fully vaccinated audience because to the pandemic, according to Cyrus.
