Jason Momoa fights back against nepo baby talk about son.

Following his teenage son Nakoa-Wolf’s casting in Dune Part Three, Jason Momoa took to the microphone.

The Aquaman actor made it clear that Nakoa did not leverage his father’s stardom to get into Hollywood by claiming that his 16-year-old son landed the role on his own. Momoa revealed that when Nakoa first began working, she referred to it as a “good beginning.”

“He did it on his own,” he told Extra. He did it all by himself, and it’s good for him; I don’t want to help him.

Alongside Ida Brooke, 17, Nakoa-Wolf has joined the cast of Dune Part Three. The two will portray Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya’s twin twins, Paul and Chani. Paul’s journey to become emperor will be followed in the upcoming film. The second novel in the Dune trilogy served as its inspiration.

“You want your children to be better than you, and I really, actually believe he is,” Jason added in reference to his son’s accomplishment. At his age, I couldn’t do what he’s doing.

“I couldn’t possibly compete with Denis Villeneuve in a room. At 19, I was on Baywatch. Holding shit down with Denis Villeneuve at the age of sixteen.

“He was gorgeously nurtured by us. He is simply, you know, adored and self-assured, and that’s what we taught our kids to be. He exudes confidence.
