India has recorded 12,830 Covid cases in the last 24 hours, with active cases at their lowest in 247 days.

In the previous 24 hours, the nation has recorded less than 15,000 Coronavirus cases. According to the Union Health Ministry, India has recorded 12,830 new Covid cases, 14,667 recoveries, and 446 fatalities in the previous 24 hours.

The country is now recovering at a pace of 98.20 percent. Active cases account for less than 1% of all cases, which is now at 0.46 percent, the lowest since March 2020. The daily positive rate (1.13 percent) has been less than 2% for the previous 27 days, according to the Union Health Ministry.

Total number of cases: 3,42,73,300
The number of active cases is 1,59,272 (the lowest in 247 days), and the total number of recoveries is 3,36,55,84.
The death toll is 4,58,186.

Kerala

According to PTI, Kerala recorded 7,427 new Covid Cases and 62 fatalities on Saturday, bringing the total number of infections to 49,61,490 and the death toll to 31,514.
According to State Health Minister Veena George, 7,166 people recovered from the disease today, bringing the total number of people cured in the state to 48,50,742, while 70,709 samples were tested in the last 24 hours and there are 115 wards across 77 local self-government bodies with a weekly infection population ratio of more than 10%.
“Of the 78,624 current COVID-19 cases in the state, only 8.2% of the patients are admitted to hospitals,” the minister stated in a statement.

Maharashtra

According to a health department official, Maharashtra recorded 1,130 new coronavirus infections and 26 fatalities on Saturday, bringing the state’s caseload to 66,09,906 and death toll to 1,40,196.
The number of recovered cases in the state increased to 64,49,186 after 2,148 people were discharged from hospitals. In Maharashtra, there are now 16,905 active Covid Cases.
There are now 1,67,064 persons under home quarantine and another 897 in institutional quarantine.
The coronavirus recovery rate in Maharashtra is 97.57 percent, with a mortality rate of 2.12 percent.
The overall number of coronavirus tests performed in the state has risen to 6,25,59,171, with 1,19,271 samples analysed in the previous 24 hours.
