It was revealed how surprised Duchess Sophie was by Meghan Markle’s degrading conduct.
Not long after she married into the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly “snubbed” the 60-year-old Duchess of Edinburgh.
The important royals advised Lady Louise’s mother to provide Meghan wise counsel that would ease her transition into the royal family.
The Sun was informed by a source that “it was just the two of them and they talked for hours.”
“Meghan had so many questions and Sophie, who knows what it’s like navigating your way through the early days of transition from a commoner to a royal, gave freely of her advice,” a source said.
The’secret weapon’ of the royal family at first thought Meghan was “likeable and engaging.” She gently urged Meghan to ask for guidance on how to handle the more difficult royals.
The Duchess, however, was “quite surprised when that was the last she heard from Meghan.”
“As she noted, it would’ve been nice to receive a return invitation to Frogmore Cottage (the Sussexes’s former UK base),” according to the newspaper.
