Additionally, according to health officials, tanks blasted a tent encampment in western Gaza City, killing at least 12 additional Palestinians and injuring scores more.

Early on Tuesday, medics reported that tanks north of the Shati camp fired two shells at tents that housed displaced persons.

Regarding the reports, Israel has not yet responded.

From Deir al Balah, a city where tens of thousands of refugees have sought safety during many waves of mass displacement, Save The Children’s humanitarian director Rachael Cummings talked to Sky News.

“We are all walking together towards death,” one of my coworkers told me yesterday, she remarked. And this is the current state of affairs for Gazans.

“There is no food for their children, it’s absolutely desperate here.”

Her words, “The markets are empty,” Even with money in their pockets, some people are unable to purchase bread or vegetables.

“My team have said to me, ‘There’s nothing in my house to feed my children, my children are crying all day, every day.”
