DETROIT — Elon Musk has bought 4.4 million shares of Tesla inventory price roughly $4 billion, more than likely to assist fund his buy of Twitter.

Musk reported the sale in a submitting with the Securities and Change Fee on Thursday. The shares had been bought over the previous few days, at costs starting from $872.02 to $999.13.

The world’s richest man, who’s the CEO of Tesla, tweeted that he doesn’t plan any additional gross sales of the corporate’s shares.

Many of the gross sales happened on Tuesday, a day when Tesla shares closed down 12%, an enormous single-day drop.

Analysts stated Tesla traders are fearful that Musk can be distracted by Twitter and fewer engaged in working the electrical automotive firm. Twitter agreed to be acquired by Musk on Monday for $44 billion.
