Dakota Johnson’s Bejeweled Gucci Dress at London Film Festival
Dakota Johnson’s looked stunning in a naked, bejewelled Gucci gown at the London Film Festival. The actress graced the red carpet on Wednesday in a handmade long-sleeved gown from the Italian label, which had embroidered jewels and ostrich feather cuffs. Her hair was fashioned in long, loose curls, and her makeup was minimal, with a nude pink lip. She completed the ensemble with Gianvito Rossi gold shoes and Messika diamond earrings. Kate Young, who also works with Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez, and Sophie Turner, styled her.
Since 2017, the “50 Shades of Grey” star has been a Gucci brand ambassador, and she has been spotted wearing the label frequently at events.
Dakota Johnson’s attended the premiere of her latest film, “The Lost Daughter,” at the 65th edition of the London Film Festival. The film also stars Olivia Colman from “The Crown” and Jessie Buckley from “Chernobyl,” and it was written and directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, all of whom were there on the red carpet with Dakota Johnson’s.
“The Lost Kid” is the narrative of a woman who, while on vacation, develops a fascination with another woman and her little daughter, provoking her own recollections of early motherhood. Dakota Johnson’s also wore Gucci at the film’s premiere last month in New York during the New York Film Festival. Her ensemble included a lace corset top printed with the label’s logo and black leather slacks. “The Lost Daughter” will have a limited release on December 17 before becoming available on Netflix on December 31.
