Royal fans outraged by William and Kate’s birthday tribute to Prince Harry

Royal fans express disappointment over William and Kate’s birthday wishes to Prince Harry.

Royal fans were thrown into a frenzy this morning after Prince William and Princess Kate extended birthday wishes to Prince Harry, despite their ongoing estrangement.

The gesture comes amidst a deep rift between the brothers, exacerbated by Harry’s explosive memoir Spare last year.

Despite the strained relationship, William publicly acknowledged Harry’s milestone 40th birthday with a social media post on the official channels.

The message, which echoed King Charles’ earlier greetings, read: “Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!”

On X, reactions to William and Kate’s birthday wishes for Prince Harry have sparked a wave of discontent among royal fans.

Some users voiced their displeasure, citing Harry’s past behavior towards the royal family as a reason for their frustration.

One user expressed their mixed feelings, stating: love you William and Kate, but I can’t support anything related to this man.”

Another lamented, “He doesn’t deserve your best wishes after everything he’s done to his family over the last five years… but I get it!”

The criticism didn’t stop there, with some fans declaring their disappointment. One wrote: “This is more than he deserves. Truly.”

Suits gave fans the most unexpected comedy duo by pairing up Donna Paulsen and Louis Litt.

While attending the 2024 Epic Cons over the weekend, co-stars Sarah Rafferty and Rick Hoffman, who portrayed the respective characters, struggled to pinpoint a single favourite memory from their nine-year journey together.

“When you’re at a job you loved for nine years, I can’t bring it down to one,” Hoffman shared, expressing his difficulty in picking a standout moment.

Rafferty, however, recalled a scene from season one where Donna playfully tossed tickets onto Louis’ desk, a moment mostly improvised between the two.

“They just let the camera roll,” Rafferty said. “It got so ridiculous. That kind of laughter, I miss that in my life — the laughter with Rick.”

Hoffman agreed, describing their creative freedom as “the most liberating, fun, exciting rush moments.”

Rafferty also confessed to taking a few keepsakes from the set, including Donna’s couch and some personalised shoes.

Jimmy Kimmel honours late Bob Newhart, roasts Jon Stewart

Jimmy Kimmel dedicated a heartwarming tribute to Bob Newhart, who passed away in July at the age of 94, after the In Memoriam section, and also took the opportunity to roast Jon Stewart, his fellow comic, who bagged the Emmy for Talk Series with The Daily Show, leaving him behind in the competition.

“[Bob] got his first Emmy nomination in 1962 and didn’t win one until 2013, 51 years later, which is a great lesson. And that lesson is Jon Stewart, you should be ashamed of yourself. You said you were retiring,” he quipped.

“When we remember the legends we’ve lost over the past year, one of whom I was very lucky to know, and that was Bob Newhart,” Jimmy added.

”Those of you who knew Bob personally know he’s exactly who you thought he was and hoped he’d be. He did not have range. He didn’t need to have range. Bob had what very few comedians have, especially today, a degree in accounting,” he further joked.

“Bob was a humble, politely, hilarious man,” Jimmy gushed.

Continuing, he said, “Newhart was one of our most loved and funniest people for more than 60 years, and we will miss him for many years to come.”

Meghan Markle set for new trouble as Prince Harry makes ‘surprising’ move

There appears to be cracks forming in the Sussex clan as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spark rumours of disagreement over major issues.

The Duke of Sussex, who marked his milestone 40th birthday on Sunday, September 14th, seemingly dropped a clue over his relations with his wife, with whom he shares two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.

According to reports, Harry’s former pals have shared that the royal is not happy in his US life and does not like to be in the show his Meghan’s shadow.

Prince Harry seemingly proved the claims with his statement ahead of his birthday, per royal expert Hugo Vickers.

The expert pointed out to The Sun that it’s “surprising” that Prince Harry “didn’t mention his wife as he has a habit of doing so, so I can see how that leads us to speculate things are not rosy in that particular quarter.”

He also suggested that while Meghan is considered to be calling the shots in their relationship, Harry’s speech told a different story.

Moreover, Harry has also been making efforts to reconcile with the royal family, which is not something that Meghan is reportedly keen in doing.

In a surprising move from the royal family, the Duke of Sussex received a birthday message from King Charles’s office for the first time in three years. Meanwhile, there was radio silence on Meghan’s birthday, on August 4th.

It may seem that Harry may have struck up an alliance with the royals, which could lead to potential problems for Meghan.

Vickers pointed out that Harry does “seem like a plus-one” but if things on the royal rift front changes, Harry’s dynamics in his marriage may not remain the same, much to the dismay of his wife.

Justin Timberlake accepts DWAI plea deal.

Justin Timberlake appeared in Sag Harbor court today to finalize his plea deal following his June 18 drunk driving arrest in the Hamptons.

The singer, dressed in a black cardigan, black tee, khaki pants, red-tinted sunglasses, and a double-stranded pearl necklace, accepted a plea deal that includes a $500 fine.

He was initially charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), will now plead guilty to Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI) to avoid a drunk driving charge.

The star has also committed to producing a public service video for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) as part of his plea agreement.

In a bid to move forward, Timberlake expressed his intention to focus on his family three months after the incident, aiming to put this chapter behind him.

A source close to the singer revealed to People on Thursday, “Timberlake is a family man, and this is his focus. He accepted a plea deal because he wants to move on.”

The insider added that the court case has been a significant distraction for him, who is keen to shield his family from the fallout.

Although Justin has avoided a drunk driving charge by pleading guilty to Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI), his license was suspended last month in New York.

The source emphasized, “It’s not like he’s getting off completely—his license is still suspended.”

Beyoncé shares why she isn’t making music videos for new music anymore

Beyoncé revealed why the singer has taken a step back from making music videos.

After trailblazing the visual aspect of albums, Beyoncé’s latest albums, like Cowboy Carter and Renaissance, have no music videos, and there’s a reason for that.

“I thought it was important that during a time where all we see is visuals, that the world can focus on the voice,” the songstress told GQ, whose latest albums, likw Cowboy Carter and Renaissance have no music videos.

“The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research, and understand.”

She continued, “The music needed space to breathe on its own. Sometimes a visual can be a distraction from the quality of the voice and the music.”

“The years of hard work and detail put into an album that takes over four years! The music is enough. The fans from all over the world became the visual. We all got the visual on tour. We then got more visuals from my film,” the diva added.

Beyonce also highlighted some names that inspired her.

“I love and respect all of the female singers-songwriters who are out right now.… Raye, Victoria Monét, Sasha Keable, Chloe x Halle, and Reneé Rapp. I love Doechii and GloRilla, and I just heard That Mexican OT, he’s from Houston…. He goes hard!” she gushed.

“I really like Please Please Please by Sabrina Carpenter, and I think that Thee Sacred Souls and Chappell Roan are talented and interesting. I’m obsessed with my backseat baby…. I’m a Smiler.”

But she said most of her time is spent “listening to the classics” from Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.
