Prince Andrew has been described as a “problem that refuses to go away” for King Charles, according to a royal commentator.

The Duke of York’s notorious Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis has now become the focus of a major TV drama.

Amazon Prime’s new three-part series, A Very Royal Scandal, chronicles the events leading up to and following Prince Andrew’s interview, which saw him questioned about his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The series, following Netflix’s Scoop released in April, offers a fresh look at the controversial interview and its aftermath.

A royal commentator has looked at how Prince Andrew is the “problem that refuses to go away” and will prompt further “embarrassment” for King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family.

As the show is released, royal author Jennie Bond suggested how the Firm will feel about the interview being back in the headlines.

“Andrew really is the problem that refuses to go away,” Bond claimed.

“I’m sure the King, and indeed Andrew, wish the interview had never taken place, even though Andrew was so pleased with it immediately after the filming.”

Looking at how this show is different from Netflix’s Scoop, Bond claimed the reason behind this is Emily Maitlis’s involvement.

“As Emily was so involved with this show – as opposed to the last one – it’s getting much more publicity than I imagined it would.

“It promises to fill in quite a few blanks around the making of the interview and Andrew’s demeanour before, during and afterwards.”

She continued to tell OK!: “I don’t imagine the King will watch it, but he will be made aware of its contents and any repercussions I’m sure.

“It’s bound to be a further embarrassment for all concerned.”

Speaking to LBC about the show, Maitlis said: “I feel uncomfortable at moments, and I feel concerned, and I think I’m also conscious… that it’s not just the ramifications [for] Andrew, it’s everyone around him.

“It’s the loyalties to others and the women in his immediate periphery, as well as, of course, to the Epstein victims that [are] the heart of this story.”

She loves animals (fantastical ones too), music, Baby Yoda, all things nature & bugs, Descendants, anything squishy or miniature, and if possible – will be in the water from dawn til dusk.”

She added, “She is curious, adventurous, loving, and oh so witty… Khai – it is my life’s greatest joy and pride to be your mama!!!!”

Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson confirmed voice actor’s death via a social media post.

On Friday, September 20, Anderson took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to pen a touching tribute for the late artist.

“We’re incredibly sad to confirm the passing of the legendary David Graham,” he tweeted. “The voice [of] Parker, Gordon Tracy, Brains and many more.”

“David was always a wonderful friend to us here at Anderson Entertainment. We will miss you dearly, David,” Anderson added. “Our thoughts are with David’s friends and family.”

Graham is credited for voicing Grandpa Pig on the animated show Peppa Pig from 2004 to 2021. He was also widely famous for being the voice of Aloysius Parker in the 1960s family adventure series Thunderbirds and the mutant Daleks on Doctor Who during the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Graham took particular pride in the fact that Peppa Pig introduced the actor to a whole new generation of young viewers.

“Just because it’s a cartoon or puppet doesn’t mean you don’t take it seriously,” the actor told Mirror in an interview. “I take it as seriously as working at the National [Theatre].”

The Duchess of York, 64, shared a tribute to her late mother but made a notable choice in the accompanying images. 

In the first picture, taken from her 1986 wedding to Prince Andrew, the duke was deliberately cropped out, leaving only Ferguson and her parents, Susan Barrantes and Ronald Ferguson, in the frame, reported GB News.

The post came as A Very Royal Scandal, a series dramatising Andrew’s 2019 Newsnight interview, debuted on Amazon Prime. 

The interview, which focused on his connection to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, led to Andrew stepping down from royal duties and largely withdrawing from public life.

The caption read: “My much-loved mother Susie died 26 years ago today.

“She was far too young to be taken from us and I often reflect on the fact that at just 61, she was younger than I am now when she died in a cruel accident.

“I think constantly of her zest for life and her shining spirit.

“Like all of us, she made mistakes but she taught me to value each and every day and to always seek to treat people with kindness.

“I miss her greatly.”

Prince Andrew no longer performs royal duties and spends the majority of his time at his home, Royal Lodge.

Sarah, despite divorcing Andrew in 1996, continues to cohabitate with the duke at Royal Lodge.

As well as being parents to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, the Duke and Duchess of York have three grandchildren – August Brooksbank, Ernest Brooksbank and Sienna Mapelli Mozzi.

Harry and Meghan’s neighbour gave the couple new title, saying: “It’s surprising they came here. People are typically older. It’s where the elephants come to die.”

Another local Frank McGinity felt a cold shoulder after being snubbed at the gates of the Sussexes’ plush multi-million dollar pad, saying “they’re not interested” in neighbourly bonds.”

He dishes on this frosty reception in his memoir ‘Get Off Your Street’, which also touches on the area’s past mudslide woes.

The 88 year old penned: “The gate guy turned me away and wouldn’t take the film, just saying ‘they’re not interested’. I was trying to be neighbourly. If they were interested in the neighbourhood I’ve got a lot of information.”

In conversation with the Montecito Journal, the local followed up with: “We don’t see them very much around here.” 

Additionally, the couple’s neighbour Richard Mineards expressed to The Telegraph his disappointment at not spotting the couple more frequently in the locale, saying that the community is keenly “waiting for them” and “gnashing at the bit”.

According to The Sun, the federal investigators who put Diddy behind bars have been “collating information” with the Las Vegas prosecutors handling the Tupac trial to explore possible connections between Combs and the 1996 shooting of Shakur.

This development follows claims made by Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the prime suspect of Tupac’s murder arrested in September 2023. Davis alleged that Diddy had offered him $1 million to kill Tupac during the height of the East-West Coast rap feud.

Diddy, the founder of Bad Boy Records, has repeatedly denied any involvement, telling AllHipHop in 2008, “This story is beyond ridiculous and completely false… It is a complete lie.”

Most recently, the disgraced hip hop mogul was denied bail for the second time and remains locked up in a Brooklyn federal jail, where he is expected to stay until his trial begins.

He is currently facing three charges according to his indictment unsealed on Tuesday, September 17: racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution.

During the conversation, the actress couldn’t control her tears as she talked about the game, where Camden “took some really bad hits.”

“He took some really bad hits — this is not my intention, by the way, to cry,” she said. “He got hit, and he went flying and he fell really hard. I just knew, as a mom, how scared he was after that first hit. And that’s what f—ed me up more.”

“Oh my god,” she exclaimed, as she shared that she “thought” she’d “worked through all this.”

“Thinking of him being scared out there just wrecks me. It just wrecks me,” she continued. 

“More so than the physical aspect, obviously, physically I don’t want him to get hurt, and then he got hit a couple other times. And that was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve had to sit through. It’s so hard seeing your baby get hit.”

Opening up about the emotional side of motherhood, Cavallari said, “Your kids are literally little pieces of your heart, quite literally, out there in the world getting s— thrown at them, getting physically hit, all these things. And all we want to do as moms is protect our babies.”

She continued, “The flip side of it is when he’s playing really well and he gets a touchdown and everything, it’s just the best feeling in the world and you’re so happy for him.”

“Instead of doing a DELUXE to Pink Friday 2, I’ve decided to do a brand new album,” Minaj revealed. “I’ll still incorporate new songs like #Mamita & [The ‘anxiety’ song] for the remainder of the tour tho …and I’ll announce the new date within the next couple weeks.”

Minaj opened up on the inspiration behind deciding to throw a whole new album, saying that “the new music is just too good to be thrown away on a deluxe album.”

“Last night, the songs I recorded were just way too iconic. I love you guys so much. You know that. I know you do. I’ll still give you something leading up to the announcement, so no worries,” she continued in her post.

She further elaborated why she made Pink Friday 3 entirely separate.

“PF2 means so much to me. As my 1st album as #PapaBear mama, it’s just very special to me for so many reasons you guys aren’t aware of.”

The artist urged how “every song on there” was put up “in a specific order” and “to honour that,” she decided not to make a deluxe version.

“I’m going to give it the respect & integrity it deserves as a beautiful body of work & not add anything else to it. 1 or 2 songs is no big deal but 5-7 songs feels a little sloppy right now (In my humble opinion).”

“This era has just been so successful, rewarding, satisfying, etc. after much thought, I want to be for CERTAIN that I am being intentional about every single decision being made around both PF2 AND PF3,” Minaj explained.

Adam Brody and his wife Leighton Meester seem to be all about each other and each other’s business.

“Everything is run through each other,” the actor explained during the Monday, Sept. 16, episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast.

“We are each other’s managers, and we also have the same two agents… We are in each other’s s— in that way, and we even did a movie together a couple of years ago.”

Brody most likely referred to the number of projects the two have worked together on over the years, including the 2023 adventure movie River Wild, which follows brothers on a white-water rafting journey.

The couple has also appeared in Life Partners, a 2014 romantic comedy, and Single Parents, an ABC sitcom.

Brody also shared discussing scripts.

“She’s charmingly aloof to the business. She will literally not know Seth Rogen’s name, you know what I mean? … It’s f—— great, because it doesn’t diminish her art,” he explained.

“That’s not where she’s focusing, and so she has that outsider quality, and she can come in, but she’s such an artist.

“She’s a poet, she has a depth and a read on material that is always illuminating and has a great radar,” he continued. “And so she can still get at the heart of something, a script, no problem, but it’s for me to look at the cover letter and go, ‘You’re doing this or not.’ ”

The Hollywood icon explained her own health journey, noting, “Sometimes women have a real dip in libido because there might be stuff going on with their thyroid.”

“There could also be stuff going on with your level of testosterone.” 

The Oscar-winning star continued, “A lot of people don’t know this, but women have testosterone in their body, when it runs out – like eggs – it’s gone. And once it’s gone you have to replace it, and that is something that can be done and you’ll feel se*y again … I know.”

In addition, Winslet shared insights into her health journey, revealing how hormonal imbalances have impacted her libido.
