Britney Spears has suddenly disappeared from Instagram, with her account no longer viewable as of Sunday.
Anyone attempting to access her page is met with the message, “Sorry, this page isn’t available to view,” while Instagram notes the page “may have been removed.”
Her account on X, however, remains active.
The unexpected move follows recent concerns about Spears’ behavior after she was filmed driving erratically late last month.
In video obtained by Page Six, the singer was seen swerving on the road while heading home with a female friend, at one point crossing the center divider in her black BMW convertible.
Before getting behind the wheel that night, Spears and her companion reportedly stopped at Red O restaurant in Westlake, California.
A manager at the restaurant who served them said she appeared calm and sober. “She was super chill and really nice,” Oliver Wynn shared, explaining that she simply enjoyed her meal and left.
He added that he was surprised by how kind she was, noting he had “never really seen a celebrity be as nice as Britney was.”
Shortly after the footage circulated, Spears posted on Instagram with a cryptic comment that seemed to brush off the situation. “If anyone is wondering the lookalike was not me…,” she wrote.
Despite her message, the video raised alarms among those close to her. Loved ones were reportedly shaken by how similar the situation felt to the troubled period leading up to her 2007 breakdown.
At that time, Spears lost custody of her sons, Sean Preston, now 20, and Jayden James, now 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
A source speaking to the Daily Mail described growing anxiety within her circle. “There’s a lot of concern. Everyone has always wanted the best for her, and she’s showing right now that she’s making bad choices.”
The insider went on to say, “It’s terrifying. So there’s a lot of talk about what to do, if anything. How can we protect her from herself.”
Spears also recently found herself in another round of headlines after Federline’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, resurfaced difficult accusations about her.
She has pushed back against what he claimed, and her spokesperson previously told Page Six that Federline is “profiting off her” following the end of her child support payments.
