Eight days after going missing in Kenya, a Scottish businessman was discovered dead.
On February 16, Campbell Scott was last observed at a seminar held at the JW Marriot Hotel in Nairobi.
He worked as a senior director in the London headquarters of the credit scoring company Fico.
According to the firm, authorities have located a corpse and opened an investigation.
“Fico can confirm that Nairobi police have identified the body of Campbell Scott, a Fico employee,” a spokeswoman stated.
“Campbell vanished last Sunday while visiting Nairobi for business. We are not disclosing any specifics as the inquiry is in the hands of the police.
“This sad news has shattered us. In our global Scores business, Campbell was a leader.
“He joined Fico in 2014 and had a key role in expanding our business through current relationships and bringing Scores to new regions.
“We are saddened by his departure and will miss his warmth and sense of humor. We are thinking about Campbell’s friends and family.
