At least 60 killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza, health staff say.

Health officials have reported that Israeli attacks in Gaza have killed at least 60 Palestinians.

Staff at Shifa hospital, where the remains were taken, said 12 people were murdered near Gaza City’s Palestine Stadium, which was housing displaced people, and 8 more people living in flats.

The hospital said a strike struck their tent in Muwasi in southern Gaza, killing six more people.

The strikes, which started late Friday and lasted until Saturday morning, coincided with US President Donald Trump’s announcement that a ceasefire deal would be reached in the next week.

“We’re working on Gaza and trying to get it taken care of,” he said Friday while addressing reporters in the Oval Office.
