In an email to CNN, Thinne’s office sent an edited video shot from a mobile phone, which shows him yelling at the kid and then appearing to push him to the ground. According to reports from the sheriff’s office, the 14-year-old seems to have complained of discomfort in his wrists as a result of the attack, prompting the investigation.

Thinne’s last day of work as a teacher was Tuesday, according to Cindy Ball, a spokesperson for the Rockdale school system, who said she was unable to provide any other information on personnel concerns.
