My earliest reminiscence of the New York Yankees was once they defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers within the 1947 World Sequence. That workforce had an area taste for me, as Frank “Spec” Shea, a rookie Yankee pitcher, was from my a part of Connecticut. He went 14-5 that season and received two video games within the World Sequence—which made me a Yankee fan as a result of 9-year-old children like successful.
