Turkish Airlines and Finnair have signed a Codesharing agreement. Customers will have additional options thanks to a codeshare deal between Finnair and Turkish Airline.
The Finnair AY code will be added to Turkish Airline routes between Helsinki and Istanbul, as well as between Istanbul and Athens, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Amman, Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, Luxor, Antalya, and Gazipasa, beginning September 29th.
From Finnair’s Helsinki hub, the Turkish Airline TK code will be added to the following routes: Kuopio, Vaasa, Oulu, Rovaniemi, Rovaniemi, Reykjavik, Tallinn, Tartu, Riga, Vilnius, Antalya, and Gazipasa.
“We are pleased to be able to provide more possibilities to our consumers as travel begins to recover and our customers may once again realise their vacation dreams,” said Ole Orvér, Finnair’s chief commercial officer.
“Through our vast network of links from Helsinki, we also encourage Turkish Airline customers to discover the lovely Nordics.”
Turkish Airlines presently serves more countries and international destinations than any other airline in the world, with over 300 international passenger and cargo destinations in 127 countries.
“Through this codeshare arrangement with Finnair, we are pleased to enhance our current interline cooperation.
“Passengers will benefit from more travel options with the commencement of joint flights on many destinations in Finland, Turkey, and the Baltics, Iceland, south Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East,” said Ahmet Bolat, Turkish Airline chief investment and technology officer.
