Actress and presenter of The Drew Barrymore Show Drew Barrymore shared a fresh-faced photo on Instagram on Tuesday, showing off her brown hair with a few gray strands showing through her makeup-free appearance.
Barrymore reminisced on his 50th birthday in February, sporting a radiant grin and maybe a touch of skincare.
She captioned it, saying, “50 = The B-Side of life — where the real magic starts to spin.”
In addition to praising Barrymore’s optimistic attitude and sharing their own experiences reaching the milestone age, fans showered the comments with love and support.
“It’s true that after turning fifty, I’m always surprised in the best ways,” someone wrote. A third person commented, “Beautiful at 50,” while another added, “Second Act activated!!”
Barrymore talked candidly about looking forward to the next chapter in an interview with AARP The Magazine prior to her birthday.
“It must arrive soon.” I get a Frodo-like feeling. At the time, she said, “I’m so excited when I see that brass ring.”
Additionally, Barrymore was questioned by an audience member on an April edition of her talk show about the key to feeling good about herself and aging gracefully.
“Oh my God, thank you,” she said. She said that she hasn’t had plastic surgery. “I haven’t done anything, and I want to try and stay that way, but I also am like, do whatever works for you,” she said.
“I only know [that] you should not judge other people because they do things differently,” she continued.
