During an armed robbery in her Paris hotel room in 2016, Kim Kardashian told a judge that she was afraid she would be raped and killed.

The entrepreneur and television figure, 44, told the judge, tearfully, “I was certain he [one of the robbers] was going to rape me.”

“I absolutely did think I was going to die,” she said.

“I said a prayer for my family, and for my sister who would walk in [and find me] and that they would have an okay life after what they saw.”

Kardashian was accused of robbing her at gunpoint in the Hotel de Pourtales in the French capital in October 2016 by a group of ten defendants known to the French media as the “grandpa robbers.”

She described to the court how one of the bandits dragged her across the bed and tied her up while revealing her nude body beneath her hotel robe.

She described her “violation” to the court, claiming that she was “grabbed and tied up… dragged from one room to the other” and characterizing the entire incident as “a violent act.”

“Being touched and picked up when you’re naked is very violating,” Kardashian clarified.

Kardashian came up the courtroom steps earlier in the day with her mother Kris and a sizable group of people. She was dressed in a black skirt suit, sunglasses, and had her hair pulled back into a chignon.

As she testified in court, she broke down in tears as she described the heist and her “confusion” when two men in police uniforms and the jailed concierge entered her room.

Kardashian testified at the trial, “I was flustered, and I had fallen asleep naked with a robe on.”
