Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are not rushing at all.
Despite their intense love, the singer and her fiancé are not yet rushing to the altar.
In an interview with Rolling Stone that was published on March 17, the recently engaged pair talked candidly about their impending wedding, album, and life together.
Blanco claims that although Gomez has many romantic wedding ideas, there is no urgency to turn them become a reality.
He remarked, “I think she’s mentally planning a new wedding every day.” We are a lot of folks who like to “take it one day at a time.” This moment is still not over. Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring.”
For Gomez, music is the main priority at the moment.
Additionally, I truly believe that this is a unique moment for us to apply it to this album, truly put our hearts into it, fully interpret our feelings, and share them with the world. At least that’s my primary emphasis at the moment.
With a striking oval-shaped ring that featured a big marquise diamond, believed to weigh six carats, Blanco proposed in December 2024.
The suggestion? A romantic picnic with Taco Bell included.
Blanco stated unequivocally that their romance is not predetermined.
“This whole complicated stuff doesn’t exist. We’ve been having a terrific time, and I believe we’re really fortunate to be surrounded by such wonderful individuals,” he remarked.
We were engaged twenty years ago, yet it feels like we got engaged yesterday. We seem to have moved past all of that, since I’ve known her since she was eighteen. When we start dating, it’s like, “Whoa.” We waited this long to be together, and my biggest regret is that we didn’t get to do this sooner. However, I am aware that it was appropriate and flawless.
