NFL free agency is approaching.
The permissible tampering window, which occurs two days before the new league year begins, doesn’t formally open until March 10 at noon ET. The deadline for free agents to formally sign with new teams is March 12 at 4 p.m. ET.
Before then, players on the free market can also reach new agreements with their present teams. While some have already done so, others are awaiting word on whether they will be added to the franchise tag, which would restrict their ability to freely choose.
