Justin Baldoni’s former Hollywood agency is not supporting him in his complex case against It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.

As he talked about his continuing battle with Lively, the prominent media figure Ari Emanuel made fun of the Jane the Virgin star’s last name.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CEO of Endeavour stated, “It is a f–ked up, bad situation with what Bologna … Baldoni … whatever his name is … is doing,” when he spoke at the Freakonomics Radio Live at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.

“Mr. Ari Emanuel is notably one of the best agents, and clearly the most loyal, in Hollywood,” Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman told the site on Friday in response to the trolling.

“From what I understand, Justin hasn’t been called ‘Bologna’ since fifth grade,” he said. If they had ever met during the six years that they were clients of his agency, perhaps Ari’s viewpoint would have been different.

Stephen Dubner, the presenter of the radio show, also mentioned that Emanuel’s talent agency, WME, whose parent business is Endeavor, had terminated Baldoni as a client.

The CEO acknowledged that he had “fired” Baldoni and stated unequivocally that he had no affiliations with the former Gossip Girl since she and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, are “incredible people.”

“People work with them; they’ve never mistreated someone or had a terrible vibe. They are philanthropic; we support them through their foundation; they have donated a great deal of money,” he said.
