Woody Harrelson forced to walk away from ‘The White Lotus’

Woody Harrelson, star of The Hunger Games, disclosed that he had to withdraw from season three of The White Lotus.

For the uninitiated, Harrelson was cast as either Rick (later portrayed by Walton Goggins) or Frank (later played by Sam Rockwell), his friend.

The Venom actor was questioned by The Daily Beast about why he declined a part in the most recent season, which featured Patrick Schwarzenegger and Lisa from Blackpink.

Because producer David Bernad insisted that all actors receive the same pay, there had previously been rumors that he had passed a position on the film.

The 63-year-old Harrelson explained that his refusal had nothing to do with money and that he just made the difficult decision to put his family’s needs ahead of his career.

His statement, “I was set to do The White Lotus and very excited,” finally corrected the record. “Unfortunately, their production schedule shifted and conflicted with a pre-planned family vacation, forcing me to make an extremely hard decision.”

“Things must be meant to be though because I couldn’t have done as fantastic a job as Sam, who is illing it,” Harrelson said.

On February 16, season three of The White Lotus also debuted.
