Will Smith talked about a terrifying incident that left him speechless and compelled him to leave a hotel early.
On The Tonight Show, the iconic 55-year-old actor opened up about a spooky encounter he had while performing “True Confessions” with Martin Lawrence, his co-star from the Bad Boys.
Will said as he read his card: “I once had to check out of a hotel in an emergency because of a ghost.”
In the game, the three of them alternated reciting a purportedly accurate fact while the others attempted to determine whether or not it was true.
According to the King Richard actor, “this was probably 27 years ago.”
Jimmy then questioned Will about why he felt the need to leave the room.
“My friend’s toilet is where the ghost peed. and deleted all of his phone’s messages… The actor revealed that it was the Lanesborough Hotel in London.
In response to Jimmy’s joke about it being “a British ghost,” Will said that they “didn’t hear it speak.”
According to Will Smith, “We thought it was British. However, it was frightening enough for us to leave the motel.
