Watching this one show makes David Schwimmer cry.



While watching The Great British Bake Off, David Schwimmer experiences a range of emotions.

In a recent interview, the 58-year-old actor stated that he “cries” when watching the show and that Nelly Ghaffar is his favorite competitor.

It features a woman who has captured my heart. Schwimmer told Page Six, “She’s from Slovakia.”

In 2023, as part of a cancer fundraising effort, the Friends alumnus made an appearance on a special celebrity version of the popular series. In exchange for a vegetable and curry pot pie, he was given the extremely precious Paul Hollywood handshake.

After saying, “That is a fantastic pie,” Hollywood extended his hand to Schwimmer and said, “Honestly, I’ve never had tofu that I’ve enjoyed before.”

The new anthology series Goosebumps: The Vanishing will mark the actor from Madagascar’s comeback to television.

Schwimmer will portray Anthony Brewer, a retired professor of botany and the divorced father of twins sent to live in their father’s neighborhood for the summer.

The Emmy contender admitted that he had “of course” heard of the novels and knew the series was “really beloved,” even if he had never read them.

The Tangled actor told the site, “I was really, really excited because I am a huge fan of the horror-action-comedy genre and I’ve just never been able to play in that genre.”

Schwimmer was pleasantly surprised to learn that the series was being filmed in New York, which further increased his excitement.

“We shot all throughout Queens and Brooklyn, and I was born in Queens. The New York-based actress stated, “I simply felt it was too delicious an opportunity [to pass up].”
