The superintendent of the Uvalde Consolidated Unbiased Faculty District has informed employees of his intention to retire, within the wake of CNN’s reporting on the district’s actions after the mass capturing at Robb Elementary Faculty.
In an e-mail obtained by CNN, Superintendent Hal Harrell informed district employees Monday’s college board assembly will embrace a closed session to “focus on superintendent retirement choices and transition.”
The message got here simply hours after the district introduced it was suspending operations of the district’s police pressure and inserting a lieutenant and one other prime college official on go away as a part of its investigation.
