In addition to rescuing the world on screen, Tom Cruise is also supporting other filmmakers. The Final Reckoning actor of The Mission: Impossible recently paused his own successful campaign to show support for Ryan Coogler’s most recent smash, Sinners.
On Sunday, Cruise posted a picture of himself in a movie theater with two tickets in his hand, obviously excited about the event.
Cruise commented, “Congratulations to Ryan, Michael, and the entire cast and crew.”
“Must see in a theater and watch all the credits.” Furthermore, when Tom Cruise advises you to “stay through the end credits,” you can be sure that something worthwhile is waiting.
The Sinners star, Michael B. Jordan, was ecstatic by the significant mention.
Sinners has been doing incredibly well at the box office, earning $45.7 million on its second weekend, which is an extremely uncommon accomplishment for a non-holiday release.
That little decline in weekend ticket sales? Absolutely unheard of.
And it’s safe to say that the $90 million budget has been amply justified — and then some — given the flawless audience score and the staggering $163 million that has been made worldwide thus far.
With Cruise leading the clapping and Sinners solidifying its reputation as a must-see, it’s obvious that if Tom is purchasing tickets and advising you to stay for the credits, you might want to grab some popcorn and do just that.
