The identities of three Israeli prisoners that Hamas has declared it will free on Saturday in the sixth such exchange of a precarious ceasefire in Gaza have been made public.
Hamas armed wing spokesperson Abu Obeida stated in a Telegram message that Eli Sharabi, Ohad Ben Ami, and Or Levy are the captives.
Israel acquired the three names from Hamas, according to an Israeli official.
Hamas claimed it expected the release of 183 Palestinian inmates in exchange for the release of the captives.
During the attack on October 7, Mr. Sharabi, 52, and Mr. Ami, 56, were both removed from Kibbutz Be’eri. About 250 individuals were held captive and about 1,200 Israelis were slain in the cross-border raid.
At the Nova music festival, 34-year-old Mr. Levy was kidnapped.
The majority of the Palestinian detainees being released—111—were held in Gaza during the conflict, while 18 were receiving life sentences and 54 were serving lengthy terms.
