STORY

Lovely Mehra had always been defined by her appearance. In a world obsessed with fair skin, her dusky complexion made her feel invisible. Hailing from a small town, she grew up hearing remarks about how she could be “prettier” if only she were lighter. But Lovely had big dreams—she wanted to become a successful actress. Her confidence, however, was constantly crushed by casting directors and beauty standards that favored lighter skin tones.

Enter Viren Kapoor, a struggling, goofy actor with dreams as big as Lovely’s. The two meet by chance at an audition and, despite their differences, form an unlikely bond. Where Lovely sees flaws, Viren sees potential. He encourages her to embrace her uniqueness, but Lovely remains skeptical. Years of societal conditioning can’t be erased overnight.
