Taylor Swift is giving fans a rare glimpse into her upcoming wedding plans with fiancé Travis Kelce, and she already knows what she doesn’t want.
During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show on October 3, the pop star was asked if she and the NFL player had set a date for their big day.
With a smile, Swift teased, “Oh, you’ll know. I was going to invite you to it.” When Graham joked that an invite would mean it’s “very big,” Swift didn’t hold back, replying, “It’s huge.”
While she admitted planning won’t officially start until she wraps promotion for her new album The Life of a Showgirl, Swift shared that one of her biggest “don’ts” is keeping the guest list too small.
“I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble,” she explained.
She added that fewer guests mean you “have to evaluate or assess your relationship” with people to decide who makes the cut, something she’s not willing to do. “I’m not gonna do that,” Swift said firmly.
The 14-time Grammy winner also reflected on Kelce’s romantic proposal back in August, revealing it was as grand as fans might expect.
She confirmed the Kansas City Chiefs star popped the question in a massive flower garden he had set up behind his home, on the very same day they filmed her guest appearance on his New Heights podcast.
“We filmed the podcast for about three or four hours,” Swift recalled. “Meanwhile, behind his house he was having the whole back garden turned into this.”
Although she jokingly admitted, “I shouldn’t have said any of that,” Swift’s excitement was clear as she summed it up simply, “I’m so excited about it. It’s gonna be fun.”
From the sounds of it, Swift and Kelce’s wedding will be nothing short of spectacular, big, joyful, and with no one left “on the bubble.”
