In the midst of rumors that Andrew Garfield was seeing Monica Barbaro, Amelia Dimoldenberg was candid about their relationship.
In a lighthearted tease, Dimoldenberg told The New Yorker that she doesn’t believe a relationship with Garfield is “going to happen” or “otherwise I would be going out with him already.”
The 31-year-old’s most recent remarks after a source telling People magazine that the actress from A Complete Unknown and the Amazing Spider-Man star are secretly dating.
According to the E! News, the rumored pair was seen on February 19th, supporting Jonathan Bailey in Richard II on the West End in London. They were both casually dressed, sporting baseball hats and hoodies, and they were seen chatting in the crowd before the lights went down.
Following their meeting at GQ’s Men of the Awards in November 2022, the internet began to connect Dimoldenberg and Garfield, and it peaked during their eagerly awaited Chicken Shop Date in October 2024.
Dimoldenberg talked candidly about the connection in the episode during her interview, saying she “loved that you could feel there was some sincerity there.”
“I was being honest. I had no idea what was going through his mind since he’s an actor,” she added. “But I was telling the truth to some extent. After that, it was like, “Actually, people are really enjoying this.”
