A twister emergency was declared by the Nationwide Climate Service workplace in Little Rock, Arkansas, for a confirmed giant and harmful twister.
“A big, extraordinarily harmful, and probably lethal twister is on the bottom,” the Nationwide Climate Service stated in a tweet at 8:34 p.m. CT. “To guard your life, TAKE COVER NOW!”
The climate service stated the twister was reported by an observer at Little Rock Air Drive Base.
At 8:19 p.m. CT, the climate service reported the twister was situated over Olmstead, or close to the air base, transferring east at 35 mph. Olmstead is about 15 miles north of downtown Little Rock.
Because the storm system moved by the state, a number of twister warnings have been issued and the climate service’s Storm Prediction Heart stated there have been 5 twister stories in Arkansas.
