Sophie Turner learns unexpected life lesson from ‘Game of Thrones’ show


Sophie Turner has acknowledged that the “Game of Thrones” series taught her unexpected life lessons.

In an interview with the Dish podcast, the Joan actor talked about her fascinating nine-year stint on the show.

The 29-year-old claimed to have learnt “everything from Game of Thrones — and a bit from my parents.”

Due in part to her dislike of seeing herself on video, Sophie remembers spending the most of her life recording the series but never seeing it.

In essence, rival families are vying for control of the crown. The actress said, “There are dragons, uh, and that’s about it really.”

Sophie revealed that seeing herself on film makes her feel “horrible” and that it causes her to experience a “bout of depression.”

However, the star of Dark Phoenix referred to the GoT show as “the best acting class.”

Sophie also disclosed that she had never had “proper formal training,” therefore she was able to learn from the talented performers in her immediate vicinity, which made her feel as though she had won a competition.

However, it was fantastic. The Time Freak actress said, “We were all a family.”

Looking back on her time as a celebrity, Sophie joked that she learned about sex education by viewing the explicit sequences that were shot on site.
