SAN FRANCISCO — Sheryl Sandberg, the No. 2 exec at Fb proprietor Meta, is stepping down, in keeping with a publish Wednesday on her Fb web page.
Sandberg has served as chief working officer on the social media large for 14 years.
She joined from Google in 2008, 4 years earlier than Fb went public.
Meta didn’t instantly reply to a message for remark.
“After I took this job in 2008, I hoped I’d be on this position for 5 years. Fourteen years later, it’s time for me to jot down the subsequent chapter of my life,” Sandberg wrote on her Fb web page. She didn’t say what she deliberate to do.
