Sharon admits heartbreaking mistake in marriage to Ozzy Osbourne

In an interview recorded a few weeks prior to her late husband Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, Sharon Osbourne revealed a poignant remembrance of him.

Working with Ozzy since 1979, the music manager talked candidly about their lives together and acknowledged her “biggest mistake” throughout their lengthy partnership.

Sharon revealed how Ozzy was given the opportunity to try out for Pirates of the Caribbean during an appearance on Billy Corgan’s show, The Magnificent Others, earlier this year.

“Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?” she disclosed. We could stay here all night, I have many billion. However, he received an invitation to read for Pirates of the Caribbean. I’ve never told anyone this before.

The topic resurfaced after the Black Sabbath leader, commonly known as the Prince of Darkness, passed away at the age of 76. Less than a month after playing his final show in Birmingham’s Villa Park, where he saw his old bandmates for the first time since 2005, he passed away.

Days before his death, however, the late legend’s wife spoke kindly of the performance, describing it as a “huge success.” She also said that Ozzy was moved by the enormous attendance, telling her, “I had no idea that so many people liked me.”

More than 42,000 people attended the event, which earned money for Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Cure Parkinson’s.
