My kids started their sports career in town soccer and progressed to elementary and junior high school teams, enjoying the sport and aspiring to be goalies.
I purchased adidas black Sambas with white stripes for them, the coolest cleats available, and of course I added the best insoles for soccer cleats to get the most comfort and stability. These cleats remain in adidas’ lineup.
The Samba sneakers which my kids also wore are now offered in multiple colors for men and women.
As their mom, I’ve taken to wearing the original black sambas with the three white stripes and the khaki sambas with the light blue stripes, finding them very comfortable and fashionable! Don’t forget your Prada sunnies before you hit the green!
With my kids in college and no longer playing soccer, I miss the excitement of those nail-biting games. However, they’ve taken to wearing the classic adidas sambas in black and white, proving that’s what’s old is truly new again or maybe they’re just missing their hometown games. 
I thought about playing soccer but realized I’d probably never score a goal, so I opted for tennis. Besides, tennis shoes are cute too!
