Kim Turnbull has finally put the romance rumors with Brooklyn Beckham to rest following her separation from his younger brother, Romeo Beckham.
On Monday, June 16, the model and DJ took to Instagram Stories to clear the air regarding her suspected involvement in the current Beckham family conflict, vehemently refuting the allegations.
“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to the point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on,” she said in a message to friends. “I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”
The London-born beauty went on to deny any romantic relationship with Victoria and Sir David Beckham’s eldest child, stating, “I have never been romantically connected in ANY capacity with the individual in issue. Nothing between us has progressed beyond a school relationship at the age of 16.”
“I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved,” she said.
Turnbull’s comments follow the announcement that she and Romeo had split after less than a year of dating.
News of their split occurred amid a schism in the Beckham family, as Brooklyn, who married Nicola Peltz in 2022, was curiously absent from his father’s 50th birthday celebration in May.
According to a source, the Cloud23 entrepreneur and his wife Nicola, 30, chose not to attend the event because of Turnbull, who was supposedly formerly related to Brooklyn.
“Brooklyn did not want to be in the same room with her, and he told his father. According to the source, David chose Kim over Nicola.
Turnbull’s recent assertion matches an earlier remark by the third Beckham brother, Cruz, who informed a commenter in an Instagram post that “Brooklyn and Kim never dated.”
