Rita Ora remembers Liam Payne as true icon



Months after Liam Payne’s untimely death, Rita Ora has said that she can still sense his presence.

The 34-year-old singer talked about their 2018 duet “For You,” which they jointly recorded for the Fifty Shades Freed album. She disclosed that, in order to preserve his memory, she continues to sing it “all the time.”

Last October, Liam, who was only thirty-one, passed away after falling from an Argentine hotel balcony. Fans and friends were devastated by the news.

Regarding their relationship, Rita said Liam’s vitality hasn’t truly diminished.

The music legend was asked if she will be watching the late icon’s final endeavor, the Netflix series Building the Band, during an appearance on The Morning Show with Elvis Duran.

“I will definitely watch it,” she said.

“I have a very wonderful buddy like that. It’s okay since I still feel him in some manner.

Rita claimed that, especially with his picture close by, singing their final song makes her feel as though Liam is still with her.

“Music has such power because of this. It genuinely evokes a sensation, a memory, or a person.

“So yeah, I have this incredible memory with him, with For You, our song together, and I’ll always have that.”
