Royal admirers are intrigued by the selection of Canadian musician Michael Bublé’s songs, speculating that it may be a subliminal message to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Bublé is said to have a close relationship with the Sussexes, who currently live in California.
Royal enthusiasts took notice when the playlist, the first of its sort to be produced by a reigning British monarch, debuted early Monday morning. The choice of Bublé’s song has been seen by many as a possible gesture of reconciliation between the King and his estranged son and daughter-in-law.
Following the announcement that Harry and Meghan recently ate dinner with Bublé and his wife, Luisana, at a Vancouver restaurant when traveling to Canada for the Invictus Games in February, GB News said, the conjecture over a deeper significance of the playlist selection grew more intense.
Many have questioned whether the King’s playlist represents a surrender attempt at reconciliation as he tries to manage his tense relationship with his youngest son.
