As Rekha recently appeared on Kapil Sharma’s show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, the host took Big B’s name, and Rekha’s reaction to the same was unmissable.
Rekha will be seen in one of the episodes of The Great Indian Kapil Show from the next week. In a video that went viral on X (Twitter), Rekha was seen taking an entry on the stage. The gorgeousness was dolled up in a yellow-toned saree with a red blouse. Heavy jewels, glam makeup, and red lips added stars to her look. Addressing the audience, the diva said that she’s now 70. Well, it’s tough to say so.
Rekha reacts as Kapil Sharma took Amitabh Bachchan’s name in front of her
While conversing, Kapil Sharma took Amitabh Bachchan’s name in front of Rekha. Kapil stated that he was playing Kaun Banega Crorepati with Big B, and the former’s mother was seated in the front row. Kapil then mentioned how Amitabh asked his mom what did she eat before giving birth to her son. Kapil mimicked what Amitabh said, and remarked, “Devi ji, kya kha ke paida kiya?” Moreover, it was Rekha who took no time to recall Amitabh’s next line, “Daal-Phulka”, and Kapil confirmed it. When the audience was left in splits, Rekha teased by saying that she remembered each of the dialogues of Amitabh Bachchan. Rekha can be heard saying:
“Mujhse puchiye na, ek ek dialogue yaad hai.”
The promo video was cut to Rekha wanting to recite a shayari soon after Kapil Sharma took Amitabh’s name. Rekha recited Ahmad Faraz’s famous line about the pride of love. In the video, Rekha could be heard saying:
“Kuch to mere pindar-e-mohabbat ka bharam rakh…tu bhee to kabhee mujh ko manane ke liye aa.”
