Britney Spears has made it clear whether or not she is okay with Millie Bobby Brown playing her in the next biopic.
The 21-year-old actress has been making every effort to land the role, including utilizing her 360-degree change and her well-known father-in-law’s connections.
The Stranger Things actor may play the role in The Woman in Me, but the Princess of Pop isn’t sure.
“Those close to Millie Bobby Brown believe that playing Britney has become her life’s work at this point because she is so desperate to do it.” On Saturday, March 1st, a source told the Daily Mail, “She feels she was born for this role.”
Britney isn’t on board, which is the issue. They continued, “She doesn’t see the resemblance.”
According to the source, Spears has purportedly “viewed her audition tape” and is still not persuaded, even if Brown has not “directly” talked to the Womanizer hitmaker.
This comes after Brown received a lot of criticism when she revealed her new blonde appearance earlier this month.
“The casting process has been going on for months, and if Millie were the perfect choice, they would have cast her by now,” the insider revealed, in spite of her attempts.
“They can use makeup and prosthetics to make her look like Britney, but Britney will have the last say and she’s not convinced by Millie just yet.”
