The controversy surrounding comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube program, India’s Got Latent, has sent the entertainment world into a frenzy in recent days. After YouTuber BeerBiceps, also known as Ranveer Allahbadia, made some offensive remarks on the program that were perceived as obscene, the argument got out of hand. More celebrities who have previously featured on the program are now being drawn in by the case, such as Rakhi Sawant, who was allegedly called by the Maharashtra cyber unit.

Rakhi Sawant reacts to cyber cell summons

Several people who participated in the contentious YouTube program India’s Got Latent, which is hosted by Samay Raina, are presently under investigation by the Cyber Cell. Rakhi has been requested to record her statement on February 27, 2025, after earlier appearing as a guest on the show. The actress has since clarified that she doesn’t even reside in India and asserted that she hasn’t yet gotten any legal notice.

“Bhejne ka matlab nahi hai doston mujhe summon.” Mainly, aapke sare sawalon ka jawab dene ke liye tayaar hoon, aap mereko video call kariye. The main artist is hoon, and it’s a great interview. Interview is done, but kisiko galiyan isn’t. How come bhejne ka matlab kya hai toh mereko summon?”

Rakhi Sawant demands rape cases to be solved first

The TV actress made fun of law enforcement by saying that rather than questioning her for an interview, their first priority should be to bring justice to genuine crimes and to ongoing cases of sexual assault. She stated:

First, unresolved rape cases must be resolved. Main toh bhikaran hoon, ki aapko de saku mere paas ek rupaya bhi nahi hain. Merely paas kaam nahi hai, main Dubai mein rehti hoon. Unke parivaron ke liye kuch karo, har din ladkiyon ke saath balatkar ho raha hai. Unke maa-baap par, taras khao yaar. Me ko pehle saza do yaar unke criminals. “Hum to white collar hain, hum to koi gunaah nahi kiya.”

Rakhi also shared that she resides outside India, and suggested that if authorities really need her statement, they should conduct a video call instead of summoning her in person.
